about ie.project

IE Project was established in 2012 and has evolved and adapted to provide opportunity in the best ways possible in an ever changing labour market. We are a privately run Indigenous business who are not connected to the Centrelink system or funded by the Federal Government. We are proudly part of the Tarntipi Group of Companies and we are a Supply Nation Registered Business.

At IE Project we create and deliver employment and recruitment solutions and specialise in labour hire and recruitment of Indigenous employees. We believe that increasing Indigenous participation in our economy is crucial to closing The Gap on Indigenous disadvantage. Through the training, mentoring, support and employment that we facilitate we help to give individuals and their families increased financial security, develop a sense of pride and create role models for entire communities.

Not only do our clients meet their Indigenous employment goals, requirements or diversity plans, our employers gain suitably qualified employees, a loyal workforce and teams of motivated locals.

We work closely with businesses, training organisations, funding bodies and service providers to deliver meaningful outcomes for everyone involved in our projects. While we manage a mobile labour pool, we also encourage and support our clients to take our candidates on permanently, as this provides great results for everyone.

Not your standard Labour Hire Company

At IE Project we invest in our candidates through training, upskilling and mentoring to progress long term career pathways. The Northern Territory Government have supported our business with training funds over the years to enable us to assist our candidates to gain and progress in their employment. While we manage a mobile labour pool, we also encourage and support our clients to take our candidates on permanently as this is in the candidates best interest long term.

The team at IE Project specialise in Indigenous workforce development. Having built an excellent reputation in delivering real results, we are highly regarded by both the business and Indigenous community. Our model works with employers to gain an understanding of their requirements and then recruit (and train where applicable) candidates to meet current and emerging job opportunities.
