about ie.project

IE Project was established in 2012 and has evolved and adapted to provide opportunity in the best ways possible in an ever changing labour market. We are a privately run Indigenous business who are not connected to the Centrelink system or funded by the Federal Government.
At IE Project we are invested in the social dividend our work creates – and we see this as fundamental to our success and that of our clients. Directors Jason Elsegood and Wendy Moulds, along with our team members, share the strongly held belief that increasing Indigenous Australians’ participation in our economy is crucial to closing the gap on Indigenous disadvantage. Through the training, mentoring and employment facilitated by IE Project, individuals and their families gain increased financial security and a sense of pride, and become role models for others in their communities.
Employers gain suitably qualified and motivated workers who are local and more likely to stick around for the long-term.
Not your standard Labour Hire Company
At IE Project we invest in our candidates through training, upskilling and mentoring to progress long term career pathways. The Northern Territory Government have supported our business with training funds over the years to enable us to assist our candidates to gain and progress in their employment. While we manage a mobile labour pool, we also encourage and support our clients to take our candidates on permanently as this is in the candidates best interest long term.
The team at ie.project specialise in Indigenous workforce development. Having built an excellent reputation in delivering real results, we are highly regarded by both the business and Indigenous community. Our model works with employers to gain an understanding of their requirements and then recruit (and train where applicable) candidates to meet current and emerging job opportunities.
